If you are completely new to Videopath, it might be best to start with our Getting Started tutorial.
Here we will provide you with an overview of the best practices when creating a Videopath video. Enjoy!
When filming, position content to the right of the frame, so that your project markers don’t cover any important content in your video. As an example, see Videopath’s demo video.
Videopath recommends 5 to 7 markers: enough so that your viewers have plenty of extra content to access, but not so much that they feel overwhelmed.
For a 12 minute video, an average of 50% of viewers will finish it. Position anything you really want your viewers to see between the beginning and middle of your video.
If an interactive video is a very new experience for your viewers, place a marker early in the video to explain how the interactive video experience works…or better yet, mention how the experience works in your video.
Keep your viewers curious. Vary the type of content on your markers, so that viewers will be curious to keep clicking.
Analyse and improve! Hover over each Videopath project in your Videopath library to find an analytics page for each one. Use the analytics page to understand how viewers interact with your video.
Happy video making!
